Championing Supply Chain Collaboration: Our Testimony at the FDA Food Traceability Rule Public Meeting

AIM North America recently testified before the US FDA during their open stakeholder meeting on Challenges and Solutions in Lot-Level Food Traceability. Speaking on behalf of the association, Julie McGill board member and chair of the food supply chain work group, highlighted the collaborative efforts of industry workgroups in tackling traceability challenges. We emphasized that adopting global standards creates a level playing field for all trading partners. Ultimately, while complex, industry-wide modernization is entirely achievable when regulators and industry collaborate to build realistic operational models, technology neutrality, and shared data standards.
