Label Industry 2017 Innovation Award Winner The Ultracode - AIM International Symbology Standard was produced after years of research on colour symbologies by the entire AIM Technical Symbology Committee. Most of the technologies in Ultracode symbol design, data encodation and error correction are derived from well-established methods used in black and white 2-dimensional symbologies. What is completely new and unprecedented in Ultracode are the methods for module colour identification in the Reference Decode Algorithm and methods for colour quality assessment and grading. These colour methods and the colour quality grading system presented here are provisional and based on “best efforts” of the Technical Symbology Committee. They are subject to future revision based on the results of actual experience in use. Symbol generation software is included with this purchase. This product is a single user license only.
