One of the most intriguing products displayed at RFID Journal Live! 2012 back in April was the integration of smart paper technology and an RFID tag. While the smart paper shown was a far cry from being able to display even a recognizable black-and-white photograph, it was entirely capable of displaying high quality 2D matrix symbols as well as narrow linear bar codes.
