2020 Case Study Winner | AIDC The military microelectronic (FSC 5962) supply chain is required to fully inspect and test incoming components to validate and confirm provenance (48 CFR 252.246-7007). Counterfeit and substandard microelectronics compromise the operation of mission-critical Department of Defense (DOD) systems. To ensure the authenticity of microelectronic parts, we demonstrated that our vTag® centric solution is capable of securing microelectronics supplies through end-to-end traceability. vTags® enable significant savings to all entities within the supply chain because the availability of item level data increased trust and assurance of the item, resulting in less resources spent testing and verifying the item and a quicker pallet-to-product deployment.
